Ran into Vincent van Gogh in the French Quarter Mardi Gras day.
So, it’s been a while since I last posted progress pics. There isn’t a massive difference between right now and a month ago, except in my thighs (which is nice, because while I don’t believe in the thigh-gap bullshit, I do want them to be muscular and not flabby).
However, putting things into perspective with how far I’ve come in 3 months makes me feel pretty good. It’s been hard work, and hopefully I can keep it up with your guys’ help <3
Another interesting article!
I know if i wasn’t here you’d have nothing to read… :P
Everybody knows the feeling you get just before a workout after a long hard day, but if you do it, chances are you’ll feel great afterwards! A recent study from the American College of Sports Medicine has shown that just one 30-minute exercise session can boost your mood and tackle depression. The study, published in Medicine & Science in Sports and Exercise, took 40 participants, all of whom had been recently diagnosed with depressive disorders but were not taking any form of antidepressant medication, and divided them into two groups: a control group that rested for 30 minutes and an exercise group that walked on a treadmill for 30 minutes. The participants were asked to complete written surveys before their rest or exercise and at regular intervals afterwards, and the results showed that although both groups reported fewer feelings of negativity afterwards (tension, depression, anger, fatigue), only the exercise group expressed increased good feelings such as ‘vigour’ or ‘well-being’.
So if you’re feeling down, beast mode: ON.
I LOVE LEGALLY BLONDE!
I quote this alll the timeeee
I realized I’ve been practicing a good running form anyway but it’s still a great picture.
CAN’T WAIT to finally go running again tomorrow. The rest of the sore throat is almost gone and after a good night’s sleep I’m gonna wake up entirely healthy :)
